Meeting gardener Keith Wiley is a bit like meeting the living embodiment of a tornado. He simply whirls around, this way and that, getting louder and louder as his ideas get him more and more excited.                                                                       You may have already seen Keith at work. He was the first subject of Matthew Wilson's Channel 4 TV gardening series, The Landscape Man. It's easy to see why Matthew kicked off the programmes with Keith and Ros's ambitious project - turning a four-acre Devon field into a riot of naturalistic planting and colour, on a frankly absurdly cheap budget. It made for riveting TV.                               The Glashutte PanoReserve Mens Watch 65-01-01-01-04 result of Keith and Ros's tireless efforts is the stunning Wildside Nursery, at Buckland Monachoram, near Yelverton in Devon, on the western fringe of Dartmoor.                                                                    It is just down the road from The Garden House, with its 10 acres of horticultural display, where Keith was, until 2003, head gardener for 25 years. Begun by Lionel Fortescue in the 1940s, and now run as a trust, The Garden House has been described as "one of the most exciting and innovative gardens in Britain today" and the best example of "leading-edge horticulture" in this country.                               Much of its fame and success derives from Keith's tireless efforts. Keith, 55, who oozes energy and originality out of every pore, is an advocate of the "new naturalism" movement in gardening, which seeks to work in harmony with nature, allowing plants to thrive much as they would in the wild. He takes inspiration from natural landscapes to create areas of planting in his gardens, inspired by sights from around the world.                               His achievement at Wildside, a former grazing paddock, is phenomenal.                                      The land he and Ros bought was a perfectly decent field with level ground and a gentle slope towards the south. However, instead of taking advantage of the prevailing conditions and working with them, Keith decided to completely transform the topography of the site.                               Using an excavator, he has carved out canyons, created pools of water and hillocks of soil, some over four metres tall. Anyone who saw the TV programme will recall Keith's exhaustion as he plunged into the task with a JCB.                               "I stripped off the topsoil first, and then sculpted the land myself in a mini-digger," says Keith. "It is amazing how the atmosphere of a site changes when you do big landscaping like that. In some places, I excavated 15ft, but mostly went down about 6ft.                               "I did it in bites, not all at once, and with all the extra surfaces I created, I probably turned four acres into six."                               Wildside contains three distinct zones: a formal "hot-climate" courtyard garden, with arid planting and vibrant colours; an area of deep canyons, bordered by wild flowers and crossed by a series of gravel paths and a water garden with ponds, navigated by wooden bridges.                   Replica Zenith Watches             When I meet Keith and Ros at Wildside, some months after Matthew and his TV camera crew have left, they are delighted with how the gardens are coming along, but are - frankly - exhausted. And still, if truth be known, a mite hurt. No ... make that very hurt, after their experience at the Garden House.                               "The Garden House became successful and well-known, and then the management who had left us alone for 25 years wanted to take a more active part in the control of it," says Keith. "After 25 years of feeling it was our garden, it was made clear that it wasn't. It
